The 2006 & 2007 Season
A disappointing 3-9 season for the Wolfpack in the 2006. After having the First Round Draft Pick, Mario Williams, go to the NFL, the Wolfpack is rebuilding it's defense. From the first few games, it looks like the Pack is searching for offense, but then a quarterback switch from Stone to Evans gave a little boost. We've got some pictures from the Akron game, on a beautiful September day. Then, one of the only highlights of the season against Boston College. Finally two games in November against Georgia Tech and East Carolina. After the ECU game, Chuck Amato was dismissed as the head coach of Wolfpack football. Thanks for seven seasons Chuck! Good luck to you in the future.
The Wolfpack open the Tom Obrien era 0-2, losing to Central Florida and Boston College. But then the Wolfpack come back to Carter-Finley and post a 38-17 win over Wofford. More pictures from the 2007 season to be added as the season goes.
